Nowadays the use of credit cards is particularly high and widespread. Many of our daily transactions either in the physical world or in the internet world made using credit cards, as a result of providing consumers with the ability of direct and secure transactions. The problem that occurs for credit card vendors as well as the credit cardholders is the fact that it is difficult to find the most appropriate credit card which fits best to each consumer according to his/her requirements and proceed to the finalizations and completion of the purchase. As a result there is a waste of time and effort for credit card vendors so as promote their products more effectively and meet their customers’ needs in an optimal manner.

Credit Card Issuer features a wide range of capabilities in order to take over control of the back-office processes relative to credit card sales, by building a system that follows the card application from initiation/filling to final decision and employs a variety of integrated and easy to use functionalities. Each user will have different authority/visibility of the system.
For Sales Support team – that receives and handles referrals from various Production Lines – the system allows input of Referrals data. Agent asks customer to proceed with profiling and in case of customer’s agreement, the application derives a result with regards to the most suitable credit card to customer’s needs. Based on relative scoring the outcome is produced in a list including the top 3 cards by scoring appear. The screen includes logo, Description, Benefit of the rewards’ of the card, Euro benefit of the Flex feature in case a customer wants to repay partially, and then an option for further analysis. The application has the ability to show the features analytically, the benefit and how it is earned, where the customer can redeem benefit.
Agent selects the credit card to apply for (either classic or flex), fills in the application and prints it to obtain signature.
Credit Initiation performs manual calculations, decides and manually updates the CCI.
Agents –after customer’s approval- books the credit card and asks customer for the type of supporting documentation
Sales support team has access to a queue that needs further processing. Depending on the status the Sales support team has the ability to edit, add contact or create a new appointment.
Verifier receives docs and opens respective case in the queue, to update status accordingly.
The expected checklist appears and Verifier completes each document retrieved.
Scanning in high quality all supporting documentation and signed application under the application number.
Credit Final department opens the screen with the queue of scanned applications and performs relative checks. Credit Final performs the checks/verifications out of system and returns to the system to give final status either rejected or approved.
